At events, does your horse worry about the noise?  If so, try cotton wool balls in the ears.  Just don't push them too far down!
To make your saddle soap go further, place the bar in a container with a pint of milk.
To avoid mess, try putting your hay bale into a bin bag and then putting this into the feeder net and only then pulling the bin bag off.
Want shiny boots?
Try washing up liquid on them, left overnight, then rub in the morning.
Or use rolled-up tights with furniture polish.
If you have difficulty getting your boots on, try pop-socks over your jodhpurs and they'll slide on easily.
To make your horse's tail really shine, use baby oil from a spray gun and work it through with your fingers (only use a little, though).
Does your horse hate having it's mane combed?  Wear rubber gloves to rub oil of cloves into the bed of the mane first and then there will be no more pain.  The gloves are so your fingers don't go numb!
For a neat plait, use hair gel to calm the mane.
For soaking hay overnight, try using a wheelie bin.  Drill slits down from the top each side a little way (wide enough to fit a pole in) and drill one at the bottom (so a bung will fit it).  Slide pole through top of bale and place into bin.  With bung in position, fill bin with water.  Leave to soak overnight and lift bale out with pole.  You can drain the water whenever you want by removing the bung.
To stretch the neck and shoulder muscles if your horse gets stiff there, hold a carrot to draw the head around.  Work evenly on both sides.
To initiate a young foal's suckle reflex if they are not feeding well, scratch their neck.
For more comfortable riding, try wearing undies with long legs - you don't get rub or cut!
